Scarlet Oak at Chestnut, Tree 2

$2,000.00

This Scarlet Oak tree provides brilliant red fall color that extends well into winter.   This tree is located on Chestnut Street near the entry to Burton Park, and is one of two scarlet oaks on the street.  Please see https://www.boethingtreeland.com/plants/quercus-coccinea/for more information on this type of tree.  Note that this tree loses its leaves in the winter and will need to be pruned when its height reaches the power lines.

Your donation includes the tree naming right, and an engraved plaque to be placed in the ground at the base of the tree.  After payment is confirmed, you will receive an order form from the Parks and Recreation Foundation where you can provide the plaque inscription.
